The first installment of what is quite possibly one of the best sci-fi series ever written, Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game will make it to the big screen...eventually. I found a link to a draft of the screenplay on the Ender's Game community on Orkut.

damn straight! we gotta get Ender some big-screen cred. Luke might have the force, but Ender had the flight academy. and we have the 40s.

hell ya!! i fit that dork description. it just better not suck like the two Star Wars prequels. with the movies you listed, they all have their memorabilia. Ender's Game has nothing. so - if we camped out, we'd look like bums.... i won't shave or shower 3 months prior to the movie, and i'll stock myself with 40s of Old E.

i didn't camp out for the star wars movies when they came out. i didn't camp out for matrix movies. and i didn't camp out for LOTR movies. but, you know, i just might camp out for Ender. it takes a certain kind of dork to camp out for ender's game, and frankly, that's one movie worth the glares and sleeping-bag-on-concrete back ache.

*taps foot.... *patiently waits.... I'm kind of glad they're taking a lot of time on the fine tunding of the screenplay. I hope it doesn't ruin the book.
