the cell phone gods are angry

My bill this month was ridiculously high. I’m talking a few weeks’ worth of groceries high. I don’t know what happened, but I talked on the phone more last month than anyone else in the history of cell phones. It sucks. I’m boycotting my phone (until 9:00 pm, at which point I’m going to squeeze every minute out of my provider I possibly can). Instant messenger is my new best friend.

yeah, my mom keeps calling to ask about a Microsoft Access database i made for her and she's draining my minutes. i should have given her the standard "not responsible for Access' crappiness" disclaimer.

Ugh... I had a phone bill like that once - I went 600 minutes over my limit one month. In my defense, I was coordinating a cross-country move, job interviews, and a somewhat significant family health crisis... but still... yeesh! Good luck with the "I'm only available by telephone after 9" policy. ;-)
