Listened to it on repeat for hours last night.
I’d write more, but I’ve got bookoo stuff to do.
The person upstairs is taking a shower and I can hear the pipes sqealing. And I think someone just turned on a freaking generator outside.
Paper, write yourself.

Yep, the movie is great. Wim Winders shot it. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=buena+vista+social+club+dvd The Independent Film Channel has run it a couple of times in the last month or so.

I haven't seen that movie, but I did see Strange Brew. I like Strange Brew. Anything with Beer, Hockey, and plots to take over the world has to be good. AND it's based on Hamlet!

ah... (non-cd related) therein lies the issues with me doing any work at home: people upstairs fighting, dog wanting to play, too many channels, too many movies, too many novels, too many cds, and those damn disobedient papers that won't write themselves...

have you seen the movie? those guys are so cute! and the woman too, can't forget omara portuando. i got to see ibrahim ferrar several years ago & it was the most adorable thing to watch that little old man dancing around with his big-ass smile. and his song "silencio" is my absolute favorite. i sing along to it over & over, which is not something most people would want to hear (i'm very tone deaf - think cindy crawford in that charlie commercial tone deaf). if i can figure out how, i'll burn you a copy of my ibrahim and omara cds, if you want. or you can borrow them if i can't figure out how. i know, that sounded very pathetic. i'm technologically-challenged.
