dreaming of pasta

i'd do just about anything for a bowl of pasta right now. tortellini. ravioli. lasagna. linguini.

since i obviously have nothing to say, i instead direct you to patentlysilly.com, which happened to stumble across this totally awesome patent application. yes, it's real.

i hate it when my people have to flee in the middle of the night from egypt without waiting for the bread to rise to wander in the desert for 40 years eating the stuff they found on the ground that came from heaven which henceforth makes me want to eat pasta and all things leavened to the point that i post pictures of tire hats that come with a "watch for swinging tire irons!" caveat... wait, what was i talking about? who am i? what am i doing here?

speaking of the south beach diet--i would never try that without making sure i was bulimic first. that way i could eat a bunch of bread, void it, and be right back on track. no harm no foul. and pman-not to gang up, since heather already alluded to it-but i think if you're going to be giving up the pasta, etc., you shouldn't get to talk about it every 4 minutes. that's kind of like reminding your wife every night how great you are because you didn't cheat on her again that day. ok? we're still friends, i'm just saying. :)

are egg noodles a permissible loophole? you're almost there - it's only a week. as someone who has attempted both the south beach diet (to no avail, obviously) and a major fast (which lasted about a week, instead of the planned 3-4 weeks), i'm really not feeling all that sorry for you. suck it up. (that was my little payback for you calling me "psycho" earlier.)
