weakness

My car is in the shop this weekend for various long-needed repairs any my parents were kind enough to loan me my mom’s car. When I turned on the stereo and hit “CD,” the first cd in the changer that started playing was ABBA.

So I cranked it up.

Yes, I have a weakness for ABBA. When I was first learning to play the bass a zillion years ago, I’d trade off between teaching myself Nirvana and ABBA songs. My mom had (has) the 4-cd box set.

lol... ok man. i tried, i tried.

no... i am not. hehe. i am a free man. free from the shackles of the wool being pulled over my eyes which is the music of ABBA. give me my realistic, depressing, and loud music any day.

It's hard to hear that song and not be whisked away to days gone by skating around the roller disco in my little brown leisure suit (yes, I had one back then) trying to turn around backwards without falling. Memories.

p-man, i'm a little concerned about the lack of confidence the internet has in our mental faculties... this is the second comment in 7 days questioning our respective sanities. however, cherz appears to be the most ardent criticizer, so i'll let this sentence just drop off as you make your own inferences... :) others agree about the ABBA, btw

ABBA?! oh no. you both are losing it... there is help.

own it, baby. it's impossibe to be blue while bustin' ABBA. and there WAS something in the air that night, the stars WERE bright, Fernando.
