I have a pretty interesting tapeworm story I heard once regarding a linguist I know (not me)

gross. i think i remember the discussion now. if you get an e. coli-laden burger, who can you sue? the fast food joint? their parent company? the slaughterhouse?

it's e-coli. you don't need a scanning electron microscope to visualize tapeworm. "I'd like a #2 Tortburger w/ cheese, please." --laz

Well, the slide shows the e. coli bacteria from the feces on poorly processed ground beef that didn't die due to improper cooking techniques and the subsequent affect on the body afterwards. OR it could be tapeworm. Either way, I don't recall it either.
