I have mono. JOY! The sore throat I am currently experiencing could last anywhere from a week to several months. There’s no telling how long this will last, or what other ailments are coming my way. As such, I must respectfully decline from my offers of pinch-blogging on other peoples’ blogs as I hardly have the energy to get dressed in the morning. Also, skorloff’s offer to pinch-blog for me couldn’t have come at a better time.
As for how I got this pleasant virus, I have no idea. I generally offer a taste of my beer when I’m out drinking with people who have never had that beer before. Likewise, I generally accept offers to try beers I have not tried before. It could have been any number of people, whether or not they knew they carried the virus. All I know is, I hope E didn’t get it too, or if she did, that it won’t become active and make her feel crappy.Want to learn more about mono? Check out this neat kids health page! Cool!

how come my boyfriend definitely has mono and my friend at work has all the symptoms? i have thus far evaded the evil kissing disease.... if i don't get it by friday, i should be in the clear.

one time my 4th grade girlfriend told me we couldn't kiss because she had mono. but then she kissed my friend the very next day, and also all the time, so how does that work? regardless of that mess, i hope you get better--and that you have a better girlfriend than my 4th grade one, because that was a nightmare.

i had mono in college. the embarassing thing is that i got it from my roommate's boyfriend. we used to cook vegetarian japanese food together all the time. how could e have contracted it from you? :)

aw man!!! that SUCKS! i got it in high school. i was out for a long time. i hope yours passes fast. if i can send you anything to help, let me know. but i don't think puffy tacos* travel well through the postal system... :) feel better. *i don't even know if you like puffy tacos, but it's the only thing unique to S.A. i could think of! ...thinking...thinking... no. that's it. how depressing.
