"[A]s long as he gets one more vote than the other side, he seems happy."
fancy that. our leader will gladly thumb his nose at half the country so long as his half has one more vote. well, at least he's not working too hard on pleasing 50.02% of us.what was i just saying the other day about government jobs?

Sadly, that's Jackson Browne's poetastical stylings, not mine. I used an "em" tag instead of an "i" tag (because it's not deprecated) and it got stripped, along with the blockquote.

During the election, he kept saying his job was hard. I always wondered that nobody countered with, "it seems to be too hard for you." It's not like he didn't hint around that he didn't want to put forth the effort. And yet, the voters... sigh. So dumb.

nothing like aiming not quite low, but as low as you can without crossing the threshold into low. wait, that's too complex of an idea for him to grasp.
