Hell no. Not gonna do it. Why should I? I love my nano but I’m an iPod minimalist. I upload songs to the nano and that’s it. No pictures. No calendar. No notes. When I charge the nano I don’t open iTunes – it charges whether or not iTunes is open. I have no need for the jukebox-style album covers. When I hear of features like "jukebox-style album covers," I think, "slow my computer to a screeching halt." No thanks.
So to all the Apple junkies who downloaded iTunes 7... suckers!!! (insert winky smiley face thing here). I hope you had a good reason to install it, cuz I can hear your hard drive grinding from here.

7.0.1 is out, Apple has released iTunes 7.0.1, addressing many of the issues that plagued the initial 7.0 release. Apple says the update addresses stability and performance issues with Cover Flow, CD importing, iPod syncing, and more."

the company IT gestapo went on to my computer this weekend and removed all "unauthorized" software, including my personal favorite iPod software: ephPod (www.ephpod.com). bastards. now I am reduced to playing from my iPod directly and having to recharge every morning.

Well, they seem to have integrated iPod software update into iTunes, and I like the new look, so eh. Of course, I set up a leftover G3 350MHz box from 1998 as a music server, so I don't look at it much or care if it uses the processor hard, as long as it feeds the 'Pod and streams music to the two remotes.
