good point. to some extent, i think i'm already functioning as a non-expert. but now i have to repackage it. maybe a sub-blog, or a new post category. i need to think about this.

Dude, why not? You already have a blog, so people expect you to write about things you aren't an expert on. So here's your plan: Start a non-expert podcast. Say once a week, a ten minute segment, with 5 minutes of intro and fluff. Use that as a launching point to some radio time on KPFT. Use the connections you make there (Jay Lee) to get into the Houston Chronicle, and Bob's your uncle!
