It's called the "Where Should Particleman Go After The Bar" game. I encourage your suggestion to be different and daring. Do not take cost into account, since I will most likely be borrowing (yet more!) money to pay for the trip. Do, however, take safety and digestive issues into account. With exception to Israel, I do not want to go any country I have already visited:
Canada
Costa Rica
Ecuador
England
Holland
Belgium
Germany
Austria
Italy
France
Czech Republic
Israel
Russia
Lithuania

Korea - I know a guy, he'll hook you up.
Thailand - I know a guy, he'll hook you up.
Iceland - boiling mud pools, yum!
Denmark - you got peeps there.
Bulgaria - go and drive their tractor!
Philippines - but stay away from the dinuguan.
St. Thomas - get some sun, dude
Easter Island - you look like those rock dudes.

I really like the St. Thomas idea. It's close yet different enough from here that i'd feel like i'm on the other side of the planet. I could sit on the beach and drink all day.
Keep 'em coming.

I was looking into a trip to Peru to hike the Inca trail to Machu Picchu. That was always my dream trip post-bar. But then I found out that August is still considered high season there & I don't want to do Machu Picchu as Disneyland. So, I'll do that trip another time. My compromise was to do Puerto Rico for a week after my last final. My current thought about post-bar travel on borrowed money is to head to California, rustle up a few of my chicas in San Fran & Long Beach, then take a girls gone wild trip down to Baja, baby!
Oh, wait, this is about you? Oh. I'd say somewhere Caribbean is a good call. Or Africa - many great travel options there. Brazil! Hell, I'm all about a trip to Brazil. Take me! Eu falo portugues. I noticed that Mexico is not on your list & there are many fabulous places to go there. I'd say get in your car and head south, let the adventure be your guide.

My next big trip is going to be to Japan, so I recommend that. I'm very excited about it. Places I've been or would like to go:
Poland (Krakow is neat; I've also always wanted to get up to Gdansk on the North coast)
Spain (In Valencia they have the best fruits and vegetables in the world)
Portugal (Supposed to be even better than Spain)
Turkey (I've never been -- sounds wonderful, though)
Japan
Mexico (I grew up in a state that bordered Mexico and have never been. Wait, so did you, right?)

You haven't been to Spain yet? Go!! Remember when i went a couple years ago? It was awesome. Just don't go in the winter... too rainy in Madrid. I would say October would be better. It's still off-season, but not that off-season.
